After you have installed the plugin, you need to setup the content entries and structure. This can be done automatically, and you can customize the setup later.

Navigate to the utilities in the CP panel where you can see the status of the setup.
Click the button to add the following to your Craft site:

• A 'polls' section in your content entries, where you can create polls
• A matrix field that is used to enter answers to your poll. This matrix field is used in a 'poll' entry.
• A field type 'selectPolled' that you can use in your own content entries to attach one or more polls to an article
