Comparison of EC2 on demand and spot pricing, and price per ecu/vcpu, in the eu-central / Frankfurt region

Below is an overview of on demand and spot prices of several EC2 instances in the eu-central region. Prices were recorded at nov. 4th, 2018.
The interest was in computing power, not memory or network performance, for a media processing spot fleet.
Overal the price of a vCPU was between $36 and $42 / month, and the price of an ecu between $8 and $10,70 / month. Note that this does not directly apply to the T3 burstable instances, they may be capped when running out of cpu credits.
